During this time of corona virus and social distancing, our services are set up for safe distancing within the sanctuary and the building is fully sanitized after each service.    We deeply value our members and neighborhood community and do our best to keep them safe while still gathering to worship and praise our Lord.
Our Sunday morning worship services are at 10:00am. A supervised nursery for infants and toddlers (newborn – age 3) is provided.
Our Sunday evening worship services are at 5:00pm during the school year and at 6:00pm in the summer months.

On the 1st & 3rd Sunday evenings, singing is accompanied by our Praise Team. On the 2nd & 4th  & 5th Sunday evenings, singing is accompanied by a pianist.

On Sunday mornings during the school year, Bible study classes are available for all ages. They meet from 9:00am-9:45am. Please see the “Ministries” tab for more information.
We have a “Hearing Loop” Sanctuary allowing those who wear hearing aids to directly receive the sound from the church’s PA system in their own hearing aids without having to pick up a separate listening device.

Cancellation of Services: In early Spring and late Summer we are made aware of tornado warnings and watches.

  • If a tornado warningis in effect one hour prior to one of our worship services, the service is automatically cancelled.
  • If a tornado watchis in effect during a worship service, someone will be assigned to keep in touch with authorities during the service. In the event that it should turn into a “warning”, the congregation will be so advised and may remain in the church Fellowship Hall or under your own risk return home.

Severe Winter Weather:Cancellation of worship services will be decided by the Executive Team in consultation with the pastor.  If a decision is made to cancel a worship service, the Elders will be notified and instructed to call all the households on their Shepherd Elder lists.  In addition, attempts will be made to post cancellations on TV [WTMJ-4 and WITI-6] and radio [WTMJ (620 AM and 94.5 FM) and WISN (920 AM, 1130 AM, 95.7 FM, 97.3 FM, 100.7 FM, and 106.1 FM].
